An announcement was made by the Financial Stability Board, made up of financial regulators globally, nominating Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to be its next chair for a three-year period from July. The chair of the FSB's Nomination Committee, Francois Villeroy de Galhau, expressed confidence in Bailey's leadership, expertise, and vision to lead the FSB towards achieving its goals.
