During the April 4th episode of the YouTube channel "CONSO," Lovelyz's Ryu Soo Jung and Laboum's Yujeong delved into their friendships formed during their respective busy periods in the industry. They mentioned that their groups often crossed paths during music show promotions, leading to some familiarity, but their limited access to phones hindered them from getting closer.

Yujeong disclosed that both groups were not allowed to use cell phones for about four years under their contracts. Ryu Soo Jung affirmed the strict guidelines by mentioning, "We hardly used them. The rules were pretty rigid." Yujeong supported this by adding, "If they said no, we complied."

The conversation prompted host Nam Ho Yeon to inquire, "How did Yulhee get pregnant if Laboum members were banned from using cell phones?" Yujeong then shared, "She concealed it, but eventually, it was discovered."

Yulhee had confessed to being in a relationship with FT Island member Choi Minhwan in 2017 while still being part of Laboum. As a result of her pregnancy before marriage, she exited the group.

Yujeong also touched upon the agency's stringent stance on dating, mentioning, "Although it wasn't in the contract, the company strongly discouraged us from dating. There were even CCTVs at the dorm's shoe rack to track our movements. Once, in our first year, I briefly stepped out to get bubble tea and was promptly summoned back to the company."
