Young Scooter's funeral will be held in Atlanta in the aftermath of a lethal injury sustained while evading the police following a fake emergency call.

Young Scooter's memory will be honored in Atlanta after his sudden passing during a police intervention prompted by a false emergency call that resulted in a fatal injury.

There will be a public viewing on Sunday (April 6) from noon to 4 p.m. at Donald Trimble Mortuary in Decatur. His funeral is scheduled for Monday (April 7) at 1 p.m. at St. Philip AME Church in Atlanta, with his final resting place being in Walterboro, South Carolina.

The 39-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kenneth Edward Bailey, tragically died on his birthday, March 28, after sustaining a severe leg injury while trying to escape Atlanta police in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood. The police responded to a 911 call reporting a violent incident involving gunshots and an assault on a naked woman, only to find no such occurrence upon arrival.

Instead, the officers encountered two men fleeing the scene, one of whom was Young Scooter. He attempted to jump over a wooden fence, resulting in a serious thigh injury. The Fulton County Medical Examiner determined that the injury caused a torn artery, leading to fatal blood loss. His death was deemed accidental, with the official cause being a "penetrating thigh injury" from wood or debris.

Following the incident, Demi Blanco, also known as Demetria Spence, a reality TV personality from Zeus Network's "Baddies," was arrested for making the false 911 call that initiated the events leading to Young Scooter's tragic death.
