Woozi, the main producer and leader of Seventeen's vocal team, shared in an interview on April 4 that he has released nearly 200 songs over the course of his career. During a guest appearance on the YouTube channel Hyeri’s segment 'Hyell’s Club,' Woozi discussed his extensive contribution to Seventeen's creative process, revealing that a significant number of his written and composed songs have been officially released, surprising both the host and fans.
Woozi also spoke about his songwriting routine, mentioning that he makes sure to jot down any inspiring words or phrases, like the poetic Korean term 'Dust,' which symbolizes a blooming flower field. He even showed Hyeri his personal notebook filled with these creative ideas.
When asked about a song he is particularly proud of, Woozi mentioned IOI's ‘Downpour,’ recalling how confident he felt about the lyrics he penned. He even sang a brief part of the song, showcasing his sincere delivery.
Wrapping up the conversation, Hyeri humorously inquired if she could request a song from Woozi if she pursued a solo debut. Reacting with a smile, Woozi happily replied, “Of course, anytime!” demonstrating his friendly and collaborative nature.
