Nissan to Halt US Orders of Mexican-Made Infiniti SUVs Amid Trump Tariffs
/Article

Nissan Motor announced on Thursday that it is stopping the acceptance of new orders for two Infiniti SUV models manufactured in Mexico for the U.S. market due to the recent implementation of auto tariffs by President Donald Trump. In response, Nissan will continue producing the Rogue SUV at its Tennessee plant with two shifts instead of reducing to one shift, as previously planned for this month. The company clarified that the pause in new orders applies to the Infiniti QX50 and QX55 models made at the COMPAS plant in Mexico, while production for these models intended for other markets will carry on.
