Ab-Soul's Super Bowl teaser has sparked excitement among fans, hinting at a potential Black Hippy reunion onstage with Kendrick Lamar.

Ab-Soul recently dropped a mysterious Super Bowl teaser just days before Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated headlining performance, causing a frenzy of speculation about a possible Black Hippy reunion during the Halftime Show.

As Lamar gears up to become the first male solo rapper to headline the Big Game in a little over a week, fans are eagerly awaiting any hints about guest appearances, with details about the performance being kept under wraps.

The internet was set abuzz on Wednesday (January 29) when Ab-Soul posted a cryptic tweet. The Los Angeles native shared that Kendrick Lamar's manager and pgLang co-founder, Dave Free, brought him to tears with some Super Bowl-related news during their first FaceTime call.

"LISTEN... I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A FT FROM FREE," he tweeted. "SMFH. I JUST SHED A TEAR. DEAD HOMIES. SUPER BOWL LIX. HISTORY!!!"

Fans of Black Hippy immediately saw this as a potential sign that Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock could join forces with K. Dot for an epic performance on the grand stage of the Super Bowl.

Excitement peaked with one fan exclaiming, "If Kendrick brings out Black Hippy on a Super Bowl stage, it's gonna be one of the best hip hop performances of All Time."

Another fan added, "Black Hippy at the Super Bowl would be insane fr."

While the possibility of a Black Hippy reunion at the Super Bowl has fans excited, it wouldn't be their first recent performance together. The supergroup also united for Lamar's memorable Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert last June.

Details surrounding the artists joining Kendrick Lamar for the performance are scarce, with SZA being the only confirmed special guest so far. Speculation has also linked Tyler, the Creator and Lamar's cousin Baby Keem to possible collaborations, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
