Kering, the parent company of Gucci, announced today that its luxury eyewear sector has finalized a deal to purchase all the shares of Italian manufacturer Visard and a partial ownership in Mistral, another Italian company. The acquisition process is anticipated to be completed in the third quarter of 2025 without disclosing financial specifics. Kering mentioned the possibility of fully taking over Mistral by 2030.
