Jose Munoz, the co-CEO of Hyundai Motor, stated at an auto show in South Korea that there are currently no intentions to increase prices in response to U.S. tariffs. Following the announcement of potential 25% tariffs on imported vehicles and parts by President Donald Trump, Hyundai had cautioned U.S. dealers about evaluating its pricing strategy. Despite this, there is no immediate plan to raise prices in the United States. Hyundai's stock dropped by 1.5% in early Thursday trading, and Kia Corp shares also fell by 1.9% compared to the 1.4% decline in the broader market. Additionally, Hyundai revealed its updated hydrogen-powered Nexo crossovers at the event.
