G-Dragon grabbed attention once more through a surprise live stream revealing the afterparty of his solo concert, which marked his first in eight years.
On March 31, G-Dragon engaged fans by broadcasting a live video titled 'G-Dragon Afterparty Video' on his team's Instagram. The footage showed the singer in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere at a restaurant post-concert, offering fans an intimate view into his celebratory evening.
Switching from his stage persona, G-Dragon took the lead at the party with a bottle of soju in hand. He humorously blew out candles on a cake with his nose, referenced EXO’s 'Growl,' and danced to 'TOO BAD,' entertaining fans with his spontaneous vibe. A highlight was the surprise appearance of 2NE1’s CL at the event. When asked why she attended, CL amusingly replied, "Because I wanted to!" creating laughter.
To enhance fan interaction, G-Dragon encouraged, "Let’s reach 100,000 comments," showing his eagerness to engage with his audience.
Comedian Jo Se Ho also joined the party, adding humor to the night with his witty exchanges with G-Dragon. Jokingly, Jo Se Ho mentioned, "I left cabbage behind to come here for meat!" highlighting their close friendship. G-Dragon even supported Jo Se Ho’s group ‘ChoNam Zone’ by playing their latest song on the spot, earning cheers from the crowd.
Despite the -5°C temperature, the audience and artists made it a memorable night. Reflecting on the event, G-Dragon commented, "It was a journey that blurred the lines between the stage and real life."
The afterparty video showed a rare and authentic portrayal of the personal side of Kwon Ji Yong, the man behind the icon G-Dragon. Leaving his mark by signing a wall, he showcased his talent for turning everyday moments into art.
Additionally, G-Dragon’s 'Übermensch World Tour 2025' took place on March 29-30 at Goyang Sports Complex, selling out all 60,000 seats over both days, confirming his ongoing ticket power and global impact.
