The family of the late actress Sulli has accused actor Kim Soo Hyun and director Lee Sa Rang of pressuring Sulli into explicit scenes during the filming of the 2017 movie 'Real'. This has shed light on actress Han Ji Eun, who also starred in the film and spoke about her own distressing experience in a recently resurfaced 2018 interview.
Han mentioned she faced emotional challenges after being cast in 'Real' through a tough audition process that Kim Soo Hyun had publicized on social media. Despite reservations about the film's demands, Han trusted Kim Soo Hyun's reputation and decided to proceed with the audition. During filming, she encountered difficult scenes like a drug party, sex scenes, and nudity, with no one to turn to for support. Feeling isolated, Han revealed she endured significant anguish and heard hurtful remarks about her involvement in the film.
Director Kim Sung Hoon, who collaborated with Han on 'Rampant', expressed sympathy for her distress. Han shared that working on 'Rampant' played a role in her healing process.
Reflecting on her experience with Kim Soo Hyun in a sex scene in 'Real', Han mentioned there was little emotional support from him, unlike her positive experience with actor Hyun Bin. Despite her efforts, most of Han's scenes were eventually cut from the final film.
Additionally, Sulli's brother has alleged that Sulli was coerced on set into a sex scene with Kim Soo Hyun, which was not originally planned in the script. He has called for a thorough investigation into the matter and urged both Kim Soo Hyun and the director to address these claims.
