Actor Kim Soo-hyun held an urgent press conference on the afternoon of the 31st at the Stanford Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul to address various controversies, including the suspicion that he had been in a relationship with the late Kim Saeron since she was a minor.

A research institute known as Garoseroyeon broadcasted on YouTube, releasing additional videos and photos claiming to be evidence that Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Saeron dated since their minor years.

Following Kim Soo-hyun's press conference on the 31st, Garoseroyeon broadcasted live additional videos claiming to show evidence of Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Saeron dating since they were minors. The videos included footage of the two having a chicken stew and soju date in 2018 and a picture of Kim Saeron sleeping in bed.

The video released by Garoseroyeon was shot on June 20, 2018, showing Kim Saeron urging Kim Soo-hyun to quickly eat the chicken stew and laughing when he gets up when the microwave beeps. They mentioned that Kim Saeron attended a cooking academy at the time.

Garoseroyeon also shared photos of Kim Soo-hyun singing the song "You're the One" past midnight on June 21, as well as pictures of them at a ski resort and Kim Saeron sleeping. Kim Soo-hyun had previously addressed private life issues with Kim Saeron at an emergency press conference held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu.

During the press conference, Kim Soo-hyun denied the dating rumors from the time when Kim Saeron was a minor and emphasized that there was no underage relationship between them. He also mentioned that his agency did not exert pressure on Kim Saeron's debts, refuting claims of tragic actions due to financial difficulties.

Kim Jong-bok, the lawyer who accompanied Kim at the press conference, stated that they would take strong legal action against Garoseroyeon's operator, known as "Auntie," and the relatives, filing a lawsuit for defamation and seeking damages totaling 12 billion won at the Seoul Central District Court.
