Amid the controversy surrounding accusations against Kim Soo Hyun about dating the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor, Hoverlab (Garo Sero Research Institute) has released new video evidence.

On March 31, during a live broadcast, Hoverlab unveiled additional video footage purporting to support the claim that actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron were in a relationship since she was underage.

Earlier that day, Kim Soo Hyun had a press conference where he denied the allegations of dating Kim Sae Ron as a minor. In response, Hoverlab released a video titled "[Shocking Exclusive] Devil Kim Soo Hyun: Additional Release of 'Underage Dating Video.'"

During the broadcast, a video from 2018 was shown, allegedly depicting Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron on a date, along with a photo of Kim Sae Ron sleeping in bed.

The video, supposedly from June 20, 2018, shows Kim Sae Ron asking Kim Soo Hyun about the meal and a soju glass in front of him led to further scrutiny regarding alcohol consumption with a minor. Hoverlab questioned the claim of it being soda instead and mocked Kim Soo Hyun. More evidence from past midnight on June 21, 2018, included Kim Soo Hyun singing and images of the two at a ski resort.

At the morning press conference at Stanford Hotel in Seoul, Kim Soo Hyun addressed the controversy, denying the claims of dating Kim Sae Ron when she was underage and refuting the family's allegations.

Kim Soo Hyun also mentioned the advice he received to ignore the situation, but he stressed that he did not date Kim Sae Ron as a minor and denied any agency pressure on her leading to her alleged actions.

The lawyer present at the conference stated that legal actions including a criminal complaint for defamation and a lawsuit for damages had been filed against the parties involved.
