EIA Data Reveals US Oil Production Dropped to Lowest Level in 11 Months in January

According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, U.S. crude oil production dropped by 305,000 barrels per day to 13.15 million barrels per day in January. This marks the lowest production level since February 2024. The data revealed that this was the most significant monthly decline in U.S. oil output since January of the previous year. Additionally, the EIA revised its estimate of the record U.S. oil production in December, reducing it by approximately 40,000 barrels per day to 13.45 million barrels per day.
