In February, the number of foreign-branded smartphones, such as Apple's iPhone, imported to China increased by 9.2% compared to the previous year. The data, provided by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), indicates that foreign phone shipments reached 2.64 million units during the month, up from 2.42 million units a year ago. Apple, as the leading foreign phone manufacturer in China's competitive smartphone market, significantly influences the overall performance of imported phones in the country. The total phone sales in China surged by 37.9% to 19.66 million units in February, based on CAICT's report.
