The tragic shooting incident resulting in the death of a 7-year-old, Breon Allen Jr., in Jacksonville has been linked to an ongoing violent dispute between gangs associated with rappers Foolio and Yungeen Ace. The shooting, believed to be gang-related and targeting an ATK affiliate named Lafayette Mango Jr., was part of a long-standing feud between rival Jacksonville gangs ATK and KTA, leading to multiple fatalities including Foolio's death in Tampa in June 2024.

Four individuals, affiliated with the 6 Block gang, have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting. The incident was described by Sheriff T.K. Waters as a premeditated act of violence resulting from escalating tensions between the rival gangs, characterized by retaliatory actions, diss tracks, and public provocations.

The crime, which tragically claimed the life of Breon in an ambush aimed at Mango, prompted strong condemnation from law enforcement, with Sheriff Waters emphasizing the cold-hearted nature of the perpetrators and vowing to aggressively pursue justice against those responsible, regardless of their age. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the destructive impact of gang violence on communities and the urgent need for intervention and accountability.
