A U.S. judge in New York rejected Elon Musk's attempt to dismiss a lawsuit accusing him of defrauding former Twitter shareholders. The lawsuit claims Musk did not disclose his initial investment in Twitter promptly, which is now called X. U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter ruled that the plaintiffs have provided sufficient evidence that Musk may have intended to commit fraud by delaying the disclosure of his investment, making misleading statements about Twitter's future, and secretly increasing his stake in the company. Judge Carter dismissed some other claims made in the lawsuit.
