Daisy from Momoland Reveals Insider Secrets of the Idol Industry

On March 28, Daisy, a former Momoland member, revealed startling details about the K-pop industry, specifically highlighting how idols often undergo plastic surgery during their breaks.

Daisy shared her personal experiences on her channel on March 22, disclosing that many idols take advantage of breaks due to injuries or other reasons to have plastic surgery procedures. She also mentioned cases where staff members sign documents on behalf of idols instead of the idols themselves.

Additionally, Daisy brought to light the use of pre-recorded AR audio during energetic performances to create the impression of live singing. Her revelations sparked varied reactions from fans, with some acknowledging the truth in her claims, labeling them as "shocking yet truthful," while others criticized her for potentially harming fellow idols by disclosing such insider information.

Daisy had previously been involved in a dating controversy with iKON member Song Yun Hyeong in 2019. Conflicting statements from MOMOLAND’s agency, MLD Entertainment, and Song’s agency, YG Entertainment, created confusion about their relationship. Daisy later suggested that this controversy played a role in her departure from Momoland.

She clarified that her departure was not voluntary but rather a forced dismissal, alleging that she was not informed beforehand. MLD Entertainment cited health and personal reasons for her hiatus, which Daisy contested by stating her intention to return, though she never got the chance.

Another crucial point Daisy raised was the inclusion of the 70 million KRW production cost of the Mnet audition program 'Finding MOMOLAND' in her financial settlement, despite not agreeing to this. MLD Entertainment responded by stating that all contracts were legitimate and made with parental consent.

Daisy is currently active on her personal channel, interacting with fans and pursuing her career independently.
