Big U, previously known for community activism, is facing 43 federal charges that accuse him of running a violent criminal ring. The charges include racketeering, murder, wire fraud, and extortion. The indictment suggests that he used his association with the Rollin' 60s gang and his image as an anti-violence advocate to operate a criminal enterprise named the "Big U Enterprise." Allegations state that he engaged in criminal activities such as murder, extortion, human trafficking, and fraud from 2010 to early 2025. The case also involves accusations of embezzlement from his nonprofit organization and misuse of funds meant for community programs. It is stated that he leveraged his ties with street gangs to intimidate individuals and businesses in Los Angeles. Despite the charges, Henley denies any wrongdoing, claiming that he has always worked to help the community. He is set to appear in court on April 8 along with six other individuals mentioned in the indictment.
