The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association recently announced that BTS member Jungkook has donated 1 billion KRW to support wildfire relief efforts in the Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam regions. This is the largest donation made by a public figure since the fires began earlier in the week. Half of the donation will be used for emergency aid and relief supplies for affected residents, while the other half will be allocated to enhance awareness and improve working conditions for firefighters battling the fires.

In the past, BTS members J-Hope, SUGA, and RM each contributed 100 million KRW to various relief organizations. Jungkook previously donated 1 billion KRW to Seoul National University Children's Hospital in 2023 to assist with medical treatment for children from underprivileged backgrounds and the hospital's integrated care center projects.
