6ix9ine has been ordered to pay $250,000 for pulling out of a concert deal in D.C. while performing at another show the same night without informing the promoters. The court ruled that he violated a signed performance agreement by not showing up for a sold-out concert at Echostage and instead appearing at a rival event. Despite accepting payment for the performance, 6ix9ine stopped communicating with the promoters as ticket sales exceeded $165,000, leading to the cancellation of the concert. The judge dismissed additional claims against 6ix9ine for defamation and unjust enrichment, focusing solely on the breach of contract and awarding $250,000 in compensatory damages to the promoters.
