Journalist Kim Se Ui from HOVERLAB, who represents the family of the deceased actress Kim Sae Ron, stated that they have evidence indicating that Kim Soo Hyun was involved in actions similar to the Nth Room scandal. However, out of respect for the honor of the deceased, they have decided not to disclose this evidence.

On the afternoon of March 27, a press conference was held in Seoul where Bu Ji Seok, a lawyer from the law firm Buyou, and Kim Se Ui from HOVERLAB, spoke on behalf of Kim Sae Ron's family. Kim Se Ui mentioned a photo showing Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun together, explaining that they are withholding further details to protect the family's dignity. He clarified that Kim Sae Ron herself acknowledged that the photo was taken in 2016.

Previously, Kim Se Ui had accused Kim Soo Hyun of misconduct similar to the Nth Room scandal during Kim Sae Ron's underage years. Emphasizing that their intention was to shed light on Kim Soo Hyun's behavior, they are refraining from publicly sharing the details to safeguard Kim Sae Ron's honor and her family's reputation.

HOVERLAB had released statements from 'A,' a close confidant of Kim Sae Ron's mother, revealing photos of affection between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun. They alleged that the two had been in a relationship since 2016 when Kim Sae Ron was still a minor. Letters and photos supposedly exchanged during Kim Soo Hyun's military service, which overlapped with Kim Sae Ron's underage years, were also made public.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun's camp denied these accusations as false and later acknowledged that he dated Kim Sae Ron from 2019 to 2020, after she had reached adulthood.
