Brooklyn rapper Sheff G, whose real name is Michael Williams, has admitted to charges of attempted murder and conspiracy as part of a major 140-count gang indictment. The plea deal will see him spending five years in prison, followed by five years of supervised probation. This development took place in the Brooklyn Supreme Court, where Williams confessed to orchestrating gang violence and contributing to illegal activities. Prosecutors had originally sought a 20-year sentence for his involvement in violent incidents, but the court approved the reduced five-year term. Williams confessed to second-degree attempted murder charges as well as second and fourth-degree conspiracy charges. His actions were criticized by Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, who emphasized that fame would not protect anyone from the consequences of such criminal activities. The charges against Sheff G stemmed from a shooting incident in October 2020, where one person died and five others were injured. Prosecutors alleged that Williams was involved in planning and executing the attack and later celebrated it at a dinner with Sleepy Hollow and other gang affiliates. While Sheff G's sentencing is set for August 13, 2025, Sleepy Hollow and other accused individuals are still awaiting their court hearings.
