Jiyu, a member of the girl group Kiiikiii, recently revealed her journey into the music industry. On a recent episode of SBS PowerFM’s '2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show' on March 26th, the Kiiikiii members were guests and engaged in conversations with the hosts and audience.

When a listener pointed out Jiyu's Gyeongsang dialect, she happily disclosed that she hails from Busan. She shared how she was discovered in Busan during middle school and commuted to Seoul for training before relocating to the capital for more serious training in high school. Jiyu mentioned that she naturally adopted the Seoul dialect as her group members spoke with that accent.

During the show, a listener referred to her as "the short-haired girl," to which Jiyu expressed appreciation for the recognition. K-pop enthusiasts have been reacting positively to Kiiikiii's official debut with "BTG" from the album 'UNCUT GEM'.
