Team Bunnies, a dedicated fan group supporting NewJeans, revealed on March 25th that they had engaged in discussions with the members' parents and legal advisors in the aftermath of the recent court ruling regarding their legal conflict with their former agency, ADOR.
Through a statement shared on social media, Team Bunnies mentioned, "Since the court's decision was made public on March 21st, we have been in touch with the parents of the members and the law firm Shin & Kim."
They further stated, "In the past few days, we have consulted with four prominent law firms, three former judicial authorities, a present attorney with 17 years of prosecution experience, and a former judge. We have actively sought various legal perspectives to evaluate the situation impartially."
While acknowledging the challenging circumstances, Team Bunnies affirmed that thorough deliberations had been conducted and they were ready for the forthcoming actions: "We assure fans of our preparedness, and a comprehensive statement detailing crucial legal aspects is currently being drafted."
This update followed the Seoul Central District Court's decision on March 21st to grant ADOR's request for an injunction to uphold its role as NewJeans' management agency and prevent the members from engaging in independent advertising agreements.
Despite the court ruling, the members—who now operate under the name NJZ—have proceeded with their endeavors independently, including merchandise sales and unveiling a new song at a recent event in Hong Kong before announcing a temporary hiatus.
Concluding their announcement, Team Bunnies expressed understanding for fans' uncertainties and reiterated their continuous dedication to navigating the legal circumstances alongside the artists and their families.
