/Article

Boosie Badazz has refuted claims made by Attorney General Liz Murrill suggesting that he utilized the name of the late Caleb Wilson to advertise his Boosie Bash event. Murrill accused Boosie of using Wilson's name without consent to promote the annual event following Wilson's tragic passing in an alleged hazing incident related to pledging to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Boosie had announced plans to create the Caleb Wilson Memorial Scholarship during the Boosie Bash and mentioned collaboration with the Wilson family and the Human Beatbox to establish the fund. Murrill stated that Wilson's parents were unaware of the event and expressed their disapproval of their son's name being used for promotion. Boosie denied the allegations in a tweet, emphasizing that his event was organized before Wilson's passing and that he intended to help the situation. Boosie criticized the legal threats against him, opposing the notion that he exploited Wilson's death for personal gain.
