Daisy, Former Momoland Member, Alleges Idols Receive Plastic Surgery During “Health-Related Breaks”

Daisy, a former member of Momoland, recently shared surprising revelations about the timing of idols' plastic surgeries. In a post on her social media account on March 22, she disclosed that many idols undergo plastic surgery during breaks resulting from injuries or when they take temporary breaks from group activities. She also mentioned that some idols do not personally sign merchandise requiring signatures, as staff members handle that task. Another practice she exposed is the use of pre-recorded AR audio during live performances to give the impression of singing live while performing demanding choreography.

Daisy's statements have evoked mixed reactions online. Some view her claims as "shocking but realistic," while others criticize her for potentially damaging other idols with her remarks.

In 2019, Daisy made headlines for being romantically linked to iKON’s Song Yunhyeong. Her agency, MLD Entertainment, confirmed the relationship, but YG Entertainment, Song Yunhyeong's agency, denied it. Daisy later revealed that this scandal played a part in her departure from Momoland.

She alleged that she was terminated rather than leaving voluntarily, with no prior warning given. However, MLD Entertainment cited health and personal reasons for her hiatus. Despite wanting to return, Daisy claimed she was never given the chance.

Daisy also raised concerns about the inclusion of the 70 million KRW production costs of Mnet’s 'Finding Momoland' in her settlement statements. The agency defended that all contractual agreements were signed with parental consent and were legally binding.

Currently, Daisy remains active on social media platforms like TikTok, where she interacts with her fans.
