Trading Technologies, a service provider, mentioned in a statement on Monday that its teams were actively working to address market data problems at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
On the same day, the LME introduced its latest trading platform, "LMEselect v10," aiming to enhance its electronic markets.
The LME, recognized as the world's oldest and largest market for industrial metals, confirmed that both the LMEselect v10 trading platform and LMEsource v4 market data platform were successfully launched and were functioning as intended.
Despite this, some LME members have observed missing prices on LMEtrader, provided by Trading Technologies, and on Standard TT GUI (graphical user interface) screens, notably involving carry prices, the exchange informed.
The LME communicated that, as of now, there have been no reported issues with other independent software vendor (ISV) providers besides Trading Technologies.
