Bank of America Corp is planning to name Vikram Sahu as the new country executive for their Indian business, as per a Reuters memo. Sahu, who is currently leading global equity research from New York, will take over from Kaku Nakhate as the India country executive. Sahu will relocate to India in the second quarter to assume leadership of the India franchise. Nakhate, who has been in charge of the bank's India operations for 15 years, will remain as the CEO of the India regulated entity until the Reserve Bank of India approves Sahu's appointment. A spokesperson for Bank of America in India has declined to provide comments on this matter.
