Newzins expressed disappointment in the court's decision, feeling that Korea wants to portray them as revolutionaries. They mentioned their stance on the court's interim injunction ruling in an online article by the U.S. weekly magazine Time on the 22nd (Korean time). The court's complete acceptance of the interim injunction filed by Adore, prohibiting activities under the NJZ name, led to feelings of frustration. Newzins stated they did not expect the K-pop industry's issues to change overnight but believe that change and growth are necessary to confront this reality. The recent court ruling restricts Newzins from engaging in independent activities until the main trial verdict, though there is little indication that appealing the decision will change the outcome in a higher court. However, some opinions suggest that this decision could benefit individual Newzins members in the long run. Industry insiders see the court's decision as a chance to prevent potential legal complications that could arise if Newzins had continued activities under the NJZ name and then lost the main trial. One legal expert viewed the court ruling as an opportunity for Newzins members to avoid future legal difficulties through caution and negotiation. The five Newzins members released a statement following the court's interim injunction decision, expressing respect for the court's ruling while emphasizing their lack of faith in Adore, implying that the decision did not fully consider the breakdown of trust between them. They declared their intention to challenge the decision through the court's objection process. Newzins confirmed their participation in the upcoming concert in Hong Kong on the 23rd. Adore stated they would support the members in performing at the event under the Adore label, but specifics about how they would be represented on stage have not been finalized. Last November, the five Newzins members began independent activities, claiming Adore breached their exclusive contract, leading to its termination. Adore, contesting the contract's validity, filed an interim injunction request seeking to maintain its status as their agency, which was entirely accepted by the Seoul Central District Court Civil Division 50.
