DigDat, a drill rapper from Britain, has been declared guilty of attempted murder and various firearms charges after a shooting incident in London in 2023.

The 25-year-old artist, known as Nathan Tokosi legally, remained expressionless as the jury at London's Old Bailey announced the unanimous verdict on Tuesday. The incident involved Tokosi shooting at least six rounds from a stolen Audi at another vehicle, resulting in critical injuries to 27-year-old Daniel Offei-Ntow.

After emergency surgery, the victim survived despite sustaining gunshot wounds to his head, mouth, and torso. Detective Constable Hannah Forrest from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime South unit described the attack as brutal and emphasized that such violent acts will not be accepted on the streets of London.

Aside from attempted murder, Tokosi was found guilty of several firearms-related charges, including possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of ammunition without a valid firearms certificate. Forrest highlighted Tokosi's dangerous nature, mentioning that he had recently been released from prison for a previous offense.

Originally from Deptford in southeast London, Tokosi gained fame in 2018 with his hit single “Air Force,” reaching number 20 on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album, “Ei8ht Mile,” released in January 2020, featured collaborations with well-known artists such as Aitch and D-Block Europe.

The sentencing for Tokosi is pending, and a date for it is yet to be determined.
