Renowned actor Lee Byung Hun, aged 55, has taken on the role of a Go master in the upcoming film called The Match, directed by Kim Hyung Joo. The narrative revolves around the legendary Go player Cho Hun Hyun, portrayed by Lee Byung Hun, as he embarks on a quest to regain his reputation after being defeated by his own apprentice.
In The Match, the character of Cho's talented disciple, Lee Chang Ho, is depicted as a young individual by Kim Kang Hoon and an adult by Yoo Ah In. Yoo Ah In, who had faced legal issues due to habitual drug use involving substances like propofol and marijuana, recently received a probationary sentence in a retrial on the 18th of last month. Following this resolution, The Match, which had been in a state of uncertainty due to the controversy, is scheduled for release in theaters on March 26.
Lee Byung Hun expressed his excitement about the film's release, stating his joy in seeing it on the big screen despite the challenges faced along the way.
