As per a recent report from a media outlet on March 22, it has been stated that actor Kim Soo Hyun's camp is contemplating the option of taking legal action against the family of the late Kim Sae Ron for slander.

A spokesperson from LKB & Partners, the legal representatives of Kim Soo Hyun, mentioned that they are reviewing their legal options regarding the unfounded allegations that Kim Soo Hyun was in a relationship with a minor.

The spokesperson further explained, "Both Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist are deeply saddened by the passing of Kim Sae Ron. Despite this, they have held back on taking legal action as a sign of respect for the grieving family. However, the family's continued threats towards Kim Soo Hyun, including the unauthorized release of a personal photo, have left us with no choice but to pursue legal recourse."

Earlier, on March 20, Gold Medalist lodged a criminal complaint against the YouTube channel HOVERLAB, Kim Sae Ron's family, and an individual referred to as Kim Sae Ron's "aunt" for sharing an inappropriate photo without consent.

Contrarily, the family of the late Kim Sae Ron has filed a defamation lawsuit against YouTuber Lee Jin Ho for spreading misinformation about the actress prior to her passing. There is a possibility that they may initiate further legal actions against Kim Soo Hyun.
