Baek Jong-won, the CEO of The Born Korea, attended the corporate briefing held at Conrad Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on October 28th last year. He addressed the issue of falsely labeling some products with foreign ingredients as domestic on online shopping malls, stating that they are conducting thorough checks on all product descriptions, including online origin information. He also mentioned plans to swiftly introduce a surveillance system composed of external experts.

Regarding the 'Back Ham' product which faced controversies over insufficient pork content and pricing, Baek stated that production has been halted and they are developing new products that meet customer needs in terms of taste and quality. He expressed commitment to further contribute to the revitalization of the local economy based on past achievements in regional market development and festival projects.

Baek assured The Born Korea franchisees that they will provide practical support for coexistence with worried franchisees in the current situation and swiftly implement support measures for franchisees to navigate the challenging food service environment.

In conclusion, Baek emphasized his willingness to humbly accept all feedback and promptly address any shortcomings.
