There has been a shift in the mindset towards luxury spending among the younger generation in India, who are more willing to invest in luxury items compared to previous generations, who prioritized saving.

While luxury car sales in India account for a small percentage of the overall automotive market, Lamborghini and Mercedes-Maybach have seen impressive growth in their sales in the country. Lamborghini recorded its best year in India in 2024, driven by strong demand for its Urus SUV. Mercedes-Maybach also saw significant growth in sales in 2024 and aims to further expand its presence in the Indian market.

Both companies see immense potential in the Indian luxury market and are optimistic about the future growth prospects in the country.
