Yella Beezy, the rapper, was taken into custody on charges of capital murder in connection with the 2020 killing of fellow Houston rapper Mo3. The arrest occurred on Thursday, March 20, with Yella Beezy accused of intentionally causing the death of Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble. He remains detained with no bond set. The fatal shooting of Mo3 happened on a Dallas highway in November 2020. Previous indictments had been made against individuals in relation to the case, including Kewon White and Devin Brown, who were suspected to have played roles in the murder. Police investigations revealed connections between the suspects through cellphone data, suggesting their involvement in the crime. Yella Beezy, signed to Boosie Badazz’s label at the time, is alleged to have engaged White to execute the murder plot, making this a developing situation.
