Tencent Holdings, a major tech company in China, announced a 11% increase in revenue for the fourth quarter, mainly due to the growth in its gaming sector. The company, known for being the biggest video game producer globally and for operating the WeChat messaging app, reported a revenue of 172.4 billion yuan ($23.83 billion) for the period ending December 31.
