Australia's WiseTech Global founder and executive chairman has acknowledged that he should have openly disclosed the full details of his personal relationship to the company's board. This admission comes after a review revealed inaccuracies, omissions, and misleading statements in his previous declarations.
In response to the findings of the board review, Richard White has agreed with the conclusions and is in favor of implementing a more rigorous code of conduct, as stated by the technology company in a release on Wednesday.
White, who is the primary shareholder of the logistics software firm, had previously resigned as CEO amidst reports in the media about allegations concerning his personal life, including financial transactions with a previous partner.
The disclosure was made by Rishav Chatterjee in Bengaluru and edited by Vijay Kishore.
