Lydia Harris has initiated a legal battle against Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight over a significant monetary dispute involving Death Row Records. The lawsuit, filed in Texas on March 18, 2025, alleges that industry figures including Knight, Snoop Dogg, Interscope Records, and Jimmy Iovine conspired to withhold $107 million owed to Harris. Harris claims to be a co-founder of Death Row Records and asserts that the defendants engaged in fraudulent tactics, such as concealing financial records and filing for bankruptcy, to avoid paying her the awarded judgment from 2005. Despite winning the initial judgment due to violations of discovery rules, Harris contends that she never received any of the money owed to her. Seeking punitive damages and asset recovery, Harris has faced financial and reputational harm as a result of the ongoing legal disputes surrounding Death Row Records.
