Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, has officially rejected the accusations made by the late Kim Sae Ron's family concerning alleged threats and coercion. The agency has also dismissed the claims that they had circulated false information about actress Seo Ye Ji.

In response to the allegations brought up in the press conference on March 17, where Kim Sae Ron's family, along with Garosero Research Institute (HoverLab), asserted that Gold Medalist had pressured Kim Sae Ron to repay a debt and threatened legal action over social media activities and communication with other actors from the agency, the agency provided an official statement denying these accusations.

Gold Medalist clarified that they never demanded any compensation from Kim Sae Ron for damages and did not coerce her into repaying any debts. They stated that the debt was considered a loss back in December 2023, as reflected in the audit report of April 1, 2024, confirming its settlement by December 31, 2023.

The agency also denied allegations of prohibiting Kim Sae Ron from contacting other actors from their agency and addressed claims about YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, affirming no association with him. Additionally, they rejected rumors about spreading false information regarding Seo Ye Ji, emphasizing the need to stop the dissemination of baseless information immediately.

Regarding the claims made during the press conference, Gold Medalist refuted them, stressing that they had paid respects at Kim Sae Ron's funeral and disputing false assertions made about Kim Soo Hyun. The agency concluded by urging Kim Sae Ron's family and Garosero Research Institute to halt the spread of false information and defamatory statements, expressing concern about the harm to their reputation due to the ongoing allegations.
