SBS has collaborated with SM Entertainment and SM C&C to introduce a new audition project. This new project, called 'Our Ballad,' is scheduled to premiere in the latter part of the year as announced by an SBS representative on March 17.

'Our Ballad,' a music audition program similar to 'K-Pop Star,' which has previously discovered talents such as AKMU, Jung Seung Hwan, BIBI, and Car, the Garden, will involve the participation of domestic entertainment agencies this time, including SM Entertainment and SM C&C, in the search for emerging vocal talents in the industry.

The show aims to not only capture the essence of the traditional ballad genre but also to portray the emotions of the current era and introduce new voices representing the present generation. It will also showcase reinterpretations of classic songs.

To ensure the success of the project, a team of well-known producers and writers, led by 'K-Pop Star' producer Jung Ik Seung and 'Culinary Class Wars' writer Mo Eun Seol, has been assembled.

SBS mentioned, “This project combines the expertise of leading companies, promising an exciting competition featuring legendary songs that will resonate with music enthusiasts.”

In the meantime, 'Our Ballad' is now accepting applications from interested participants via the official website and QR code provided.
