Iggy Azalea has accused Universal Music Group (UMG) of withholding millions of dollars in unpaid royalties and has expressed her determination to pursue legal action to recover what is rightfully hers.

The Australian rapper took to social media to expose what she perceives as UMG's failure to compensate her, claiming that the amount owed to her falls within the eight-figure range.

Azalea stated in a series of tweets that she has not received any royalties from UMG for international transactions. Furthermore, she criticized the label's response to her attempts to address the issue, labelling their suggested settlement of $18,000 as laughable.

Describing UMG as "criminals" who exploit artists for financial gain, Azalea criticized the industry giant for its treatment of artists who may not have the means to fight for their due payments.

Despite battling with UMG over this matter for over two years, Azalea firmly declared that she will continue to push for what she rightfully deserves, with an intention to pursue legal action if a fair resolution is not offered.

Azalea highlighted the barrier that major labels create by making the legal process financially strenuous, but asserted her readiness to take the issue to court and fight for her rights, even if it means facing challenges along the way.
