The premiere schedule for Disney+'s original series 'Knock-Off' is uncertain due to the controversy surrounding lead actor Kim Soo Hyun. Originally planned for the first half of the year, the production presentation was set for the following month. However, allegations regarding Kim Soo Hyun's supposed involvement with a minor have caused delays.

'Knock-Off' tells the story of a man who becomes the king of the counterfeit goods market after his life is disrupted by the IMF crisis. Kim Soo Hyun portrays Kim Seong Jun, the vice president of Sammul Market, while Jo Bo Ah plays Song Hye Jung, a special judicial police officer taking on counterfeit goods. With high expectations and Season 2 in production, the series faces uncertainty due to the recent allegations involving Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron. Disney Korea has not confirmed the release schedule in response to speculation.

The production sponsors of 'Knock-Off,' such as Anjeonjidae Korea, are feeling the effects of the uncertainty. Anjeonjidae Korea, the first street fashion brand in Korea, collaborated on the show but now faces disruption due to the controversy. The CEO, Park Ki Pyo, expressed disappointment about the situation and awaits Disney's decision before taking an official stance.

CEO Park, who has been driving Anjeonjidae Korea's global expansion, faced a personal tragedy with his sister's passing last year. Despite the challenges, he is committed to fulfilling his sister's vision and growing the brand.

With the broadcast of 'Knock-Off' in question, the responses of production sponsors like Safety Zone Korea are being closely watched. Sponsors could face damage to their brand image if the controversy prolongs. Disney+ holds the key to determining the future of 'Knock-Off' and whether adjustments will be made to the original release plan.
