Central Cee Reveals Why Drake Collaboration Didn't Make the Album Cut

Central Cee has left fans buzzing by holding off on his highly-anticipated Drake collaboration for his latest album "Can’t Rush Greatness." The British rap sensation surprises everyone by explaining why the track didn't feature on his recently released project.

Receiving stellar reviews since its drop on January 24, "Can’t Rush Greatness" boasts an all-star lineup including the likes of Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Skepta, Dave, and Lil Baby. While fans were eagerly expecting a Drake appearance, given the Canadian artist's deep connections to the U.K. rap scene, Central Cee decided to keep it unpredictable.

Despite having a secret Drake record tucked away, Central Cee shared in a recent interview with Dutch radio station FunX that he chose to "save" the collaboration for future endeavors. The decision to hold back the track for now stems from his desire to keep fans guessing and maintain an element of surprise in his work.

Acknowledging his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the first U.K. rapper to surpass 1 billion Spotify streams, Central Cee reflected on his achievements, including a special collaboration with his childhood inspiration, Skepta, on the album. As excitement builds around his latest release, the artist also announced a massive 39-date world tour set to kick off in Europe in April, making its way through North America before concluding in Australia in July.
