'Netflix Korea' has just dropped a reaction video featuring the cast of their latest drama, 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', starring IU, Moon So Ri, and Park Hae Joon.
In the video, IU confesses to really drinking alcohol for a scene where her character had to be drunk. When filming a drinking scene with Park Hae Joon, who plays her father, IU chose to take a shot instead of using makeup to avoid looking cute instead of intoxicated, aiming for authenticity.
Park Hae Joon then jokingly asks IU if he also needed to drink for the scene, to which IU replies that she doesn't think so, but reveals that he did have a drink after filming. Park Hae Joon humorously remarks that having a drink post-acting is only natural.
Set in 1950s Korea and starring IU and Park Bo Gum, 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' is a popular slice-of-life series currently streaming on Netflix.
