Offset Accused of Assault After Altercation With Security Guard at Dispensary

Offset has a reputation for getting into altercations with his posse in tow.

The Migos star may be facing legal trouble after an incident with a security guard at a marijuana dispensary. Reports from TMZ suggest that things turned violent when Offset and his crew clashed with security at MedMen LAX over an ID issue. The dispute allegedly arose when the guard questioned Offset's identification for purchasing marijuana, a mandatory requirement in California.

Offset's team denies the allegations, stating he had his ID after just landing at the airport. Offset claims he was showing his ID when the guard escalated the situation by spitting in his face, leading to a physical scuffle. More security got involved, and the altercation worsened, with claims of mace being sprayed.

Police were called, but Offset had already left by then. The security guard was taken to the hospital, and charges are believed to have been filed against Offset, who proclaims his innocence.

This incident comes after Offset’s involvement in a scuffle in Paris and a prior altercation at ComplexCon in 2023. In that case, a security guard accused Offset and others of assault and battery, which Offset denied, stating he was merely trying to stop the fight.

Offset's track record with physical confrontations continues to attract attention and controversy.
