Recent reports confirm that Kim Sae Ron's mother, known as A, is readying a response to the statements made by Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist. A is said to be under immense stress after her daughter's passing, resulting in facial nerve paralysis that has significantly impacted her daily life. B, who has been caring for Kim Sae Ron since birth, has been handling interviews on behalf of the mourning family due to A's condition. Interestingly, 'Kim Sae Ron's aunt' on the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute is also B, and her biological daughter engaged in discussions with Kim Sae Ron about her statement last March. The families have a longstanding bond spanning over two decades, with Kim Sae Ron affectionately referring to B as her aunt.
In a statement released on March 14, Gold Medalist insisted, "The informant from Garosero Research Institute, who allegedly misrepresented themselves as a family member of Kim Sae Ron, is, in fact, an acquaintance of her mother." The agency added, "This unidentified person is distorting facts and spreading unfounded rumors."
Contrary to Gold Medalist's assertions, Kim Sae Ron's family maintains that the agency was well aware of B's role. They argue that B shared a close relationship with Kim Sae Ron, so much so that she was regarded as family and even handled the actress's schedules related to Gold Medalist, engaging directly with agency personnel.
Despite her health battles, A has chosen to make a statement as she believes Gold Medalist's narrative contains multiple falsehoods. Both the mother and the bereaved family are deeply upset by the agency's stance.
Addressing the dating speculations involving Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun, Gold Medalist acknowledged their past relationship but clarified that it lasted only from the summer of 2019 until the fall of 2020, after she had come of age.
Furthermore, the agency has refuted claims that Kim Soo Hyun pressured Kim Sae Ron with a substantial penalty fee leading to her demise, arguing that the proof of content document issuance was a necessary procedure. They maintained, "We never coerced her into repaying any debts."
