NJZ (NewJeans) fans rally behind their beloved K-pop group as they take a stand for the members' independence.
In a bold move on March 13, supporters of NJZ took their grievances to court, accusing HYBE and Chairman Bang Si Hyuk of creating a hostile environment for the group. Over 30,000 fans from both local and international communities signed the petition, which was then delivered to the 50th Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court.
Fans expressed their frustration, stating that deliberate discrimination by HYBE and Chairman Bang Si Hyuk has hindered the members' ability to thrive in their careers. The unfair treatment not only affects the group but also impacts the fans, who can no longer fully enjoy the music and activities of NewJeans.
Earlier, HYBE had sought to restrict the group members from pursuing individual activities and signing contracts, citing violations of their agreement. The court is reviewing additional evidence until March 14 before making a judgment.
In the midst of this ongoing legal battle, supporters are actively mobilizing others to lend their voices to the cause by raising awareness about the petition.
Stay tuned for further updates as the NJZ fandom fights for justice and the right to pursue their dreams.
