Eider Removes Kim Soo Hyun's Images Amid Controversy
Eider, the renowned outdoor fashion brand, has taken a significant step by erasing all traces of popular actor Kim Soo Hyun from its official social media channels. The removal of his photographs from K-Village's website section dedicated to Eider has also resulted in the disappearance of his images from the brand's social media profiles.
Notably, the only Eider spokesperson currently featured on the brand's social media platforms is Wonyoung from IVE, who has been actively promoting alongside Kim Soo Hyun.
This decision follows grave allegations put forth by the grieving family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron. Through the channel 'Garosero Research Institute' on March 10, they asserted that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron had a romantic involvement from the time she was 15 until she turned 21, spanning a six-year period (2015–2021).
Despite vehemently denying these accusations as "groundless fabrications that cannot be dismissed," Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, faced heightened scrutiny. The controversy escalated when purported text messages from the deceased actress to Kim Soo Hyun surfaced, along with photos depicting a cheek kiss between them and alleged letters exchanged during his military service. The potential implications of grooming behavior have spurred public outrage.
In response, Gold Medalist, representing Kim Soo Hyun, announced on March 13 their intent to provide concrete evidence to refute these baseless rumors the following week. They expressed regret for the prolonged distress caused and requested understanding as they limit public comments on the issue.
As the narrative unfolds, the audience eagerly anticipates additional disclosures and clarifications from all parties involved.
