Latto and Playboi Carti have finally dropped the highly anticipated remix of "Blick Sum," sending fans into a frenzy and sparking excitement about Carti's elusive album.

The Columbus, Ohio native, Latto, teased the remix earlier this week, hyping up fans who had already caught wind of a leaked version. Originally featured on Latto's 2024 album Sugar Honey Iced Tea but without Carti, the track now boasts his verse, which had previously surfaced online.

Released on Monday evening, the remix came with a slick music video that captivated Latto's fan base. Fans were quick to express their awe, with one sharing, "Latto im speechless..." along with a clip of the rapper rocking a bold bikini and oversized fur coat in the video.

Comments flooded in from fans admiring Latto's look, with one noting, "The mug. The hair. The outfit. The aura," alongside a snapshot from the visuals.

As fans digested the collaboration between Latto and Playboi Carti, many were surprised that Carti cleared the verse and video but hoped it could signal the imminent release of his much-awaited album. Speculations arose, with one user asking, "What kind of information does Latto have on Carti that he cleared the verse and video," prompting another to reply, "Hopefully enough to get the album out as well."

Throughout 2024, Carti has been teasing the arrival of his anticipated project, promising its release before the year's end. At Rolling Loud Miami in December, he gave fans a taste of what to expect, previewing tracks produced by F1LTHY, Mike Dean, and Metro Boomin. The performance also featured a new song with The Weeknd, as well as a closing track titled "Drugs Got Me Numb."

The prolonged wait for Carti's album led to fans' frustration, culminating in a petition to ban him from streaming platforms that garnered over 8,000 signatures.

With the release of the "Blick Sum" remix, both Latto and Playboi Carti are once again the talk of the town, fueling hopes for more music from Carti in the near future.
