The feud between One Hundred, headed by MC Mong, and KBS is intensifying, capturing widespread attention. Recently, MC Mong, known for his public criticism of SM Entertainment, once again made headlines by addressing the ongoing dispute.

On March 7, MC Mong shared a collection of songs he had created for popular groups like SISTAR, Girl's Day, and Apink on his Instagram. In his post, he revealed that these uplifting and positive tracks were written during his darkest moments, stating, "The essence of my music reflects my innate optimism, irrespective of how the media may portray me." Emphasizing the profound impact of music on memories, he affirmed, "I am a beacon of positivity, just like my compositions."

Hinting at forthcoming exciting developments for his fans, MC Mong emphasized his belief that musicians should primarily express themselves through their art.

The clash originated on March 4 when INB100 artist Xiumin, affiliated with One Hundred, disclosed being barred from appearing on KBS 2TV’s 'Music Bank.' Alleging external pressure from SM Entertainment as the reason for Xiumin's exclusion, One Hundred's team expressed frustration over KBS's vague responses and awaited an official clarification from the broadcaster.

Adding fuel to the fire, MC Mong unleashed scathing criticism towards SM on social media the following day, hinting at potentially incriminating evidence. However, the post was later removed, escalating tensions between One Hundred and KBS. The situation prompted a solidarity boycott by other One Hundred artists, with Lee Soo Geun refusing a KBS Joy appearance, and Lee Mu Jin missing a scheduled recording for a KBS YouTube show.

In the wake of the escalating conflict, Han Kyung Cheon, the head of KBS's Entertainment Center, addressed the controversy, attributing the artist selection for 'Music Bank' to the program director and citing a miscommunication between the production team and the agency. He expressed optimism about resolving the issue through continued dialogue.

In response, One Hundred showed willingness to cooperate with KBS following Han Kyung Cheon's remarks, expressing their readiness to resume filming with their artists and seeking active collaboration from the broadcaster. The developments signify a potential resolution to the standoff and a path towards reconciliation.

NOTE: Exciting News – Lee Soo Geun and Lee Mu Jin set to make a broadcast return, as One Hundred engages with KBS seeking resolution on Xiumin's 'Music Bank' issue.
